Well I got kinda bored last nite, so I made some silly ATCs with Photoshop. The first one's not 'silly' I guess, except for the fact it's me in the pic. LOL The second one is a doll image I got from With a russian/dutch heart's blog and put my face in it. (pretty silly ;) ) The awesome metallic looking embellishments on the first one came from digikeepsakes blog. Check out both of those blogs for some awesome digital images! I just love them both!!

Well, I've done it... finally started making digital ATCs. lol And of course, now I'm hooked! I've got about 8G of images and embellishments on my hard drive now to make these. It's nice to be able to take my craft supplies anywhere with me (laptop) without packing up a TON of stuff. I still go out to my garage (my craft room) and make stuff, but when I'm tired or it gets too hot/muggy to stay out there, I can sit in the house and still do stuff! Last week when I spent a week with family in Indiana, I was able to work on some over there. That was cool.
Here they are. The first one was my first ATC, they're listed in order that I made them.
Hope you like!
Thanks for looking! and all comments are welcome and greatly appreciated!
Here are some cards I made for an Asian Swap on SCS. I just loved how they turned out!!
Set 1 - I found this guy on a Korean Express mail envelope. Luckily we've received enough at work that I could make a set of ATCs with him. He's just so cute! The background is from a Korean magazine and the coin is also real Korean coin I found at a local flea market. Set 2 - The main thing about this card is the background. I used a black card, tore the red card and had some gold parchment-looking paper that I stamped using staz-on and an asian text stamp. I loved how the gold paper turned out! Then I used glossy gel medium to attach them together. Stamped the symbol, attached the charms with some black fiber and ta-da! lol I do think they're rather pretty. Set 3 - This set came to me spontaneously after I made the first two. I stamped the image on glossy ATC cardstock and colored her in with a tiny paintbrush and twinkling H2Os. This set is my favorite out of the three. Of course that usually happens when I get an idea out of the blue that smacks me in the head (hehe) I end up with something I really really like. Thanks for looking! And I'd love to hear your comments! (Remember, I have my account set up where you don't have to be a blogger member to post a comment.)
Finally... I've been able to get some new pics posted here...
This first set of ATCs are called Vintage Ladies. I found some free clipart online and there were 10 women together and it inspired me to try out some vintage style. I don't usually go for vintage style, but I had recently done a puzzle swap and had to use that style. They turned out so good that I thought I'd try some ATCs. Dunno what to do with them yet. Thought about trading them one to one on one of my groups, but have reconsidered... I used a weave textured paper and inked it, then stamped the clock on. Down at the bottom is some sheet music I tore the edge of and attached it and a matching ribbon. I colored the images and glued them on. Each one has a little tiny rhinestone for an earring or on their neck. I think they turned out very pretty.
This is one of my attempts at zentangles. It's very much like doodling, and fun! I stamped the sun/moon image and drew from there. These are from a swap I did. It was called "I can draw a straight line". We had to draw a picture using only straight lines. Of course, being a coffee addict, coffee cups were perfect. LOL
This was another drawing swap I did. "hand-drawn jesters" I drew the jesters, colored them with pencils and painted the background and used a gold leafing pen on the edges and the bells. Then I matted them on a piece of harlequin patterned paper. This is the first time I've drawn people in forever! And the first time I've drawn a cartoony style person. I'm not so good with hands so I tried to draw them with their hands hidden hehe. I really like how they turned out!
Well, that's about all I have today. I need to get busy with my camera now that I managed to get it working. So I can post some more. ;)
Finally!!! after waiting almost a year I've have a new laptop!! this time with built in wireless! it's too cool!!! It's especially good because since december I've been without internet because the modem on my desktop went out. I'm so happy! lol! Now I can get back to posting my artwork. I need to get everything I've been working on for the past couple months and get it posted on here. I'm working overtime again... (of course) but hopefully will find some time this weekend to post. :)
